SYNOPSIS

Junko Sakuraba (Satomi Ishihara) is an English language teacher at ELA (English Language Academy). She dreams of working and living in New York City one day.

Takane Hoshikawa (Yamashita Tomohisa) is a Buddhist priest (monk) in training to be a Chief Priest. These two met when Junko attended a memorial service at Takane's temple and she accidentally poured sand (or ashes) on his head; and Takane fell love-at-first-sight at Junko's kawaii (cute) smile.

REVIEW

Definitely one of my favorite drama's of 2015. It's funny, quirky, over-the-top romantic and hopeless, but also full of heart, hope, perseverance, love and some real-life drama. Takane is the man every woman dreams of having – the one that loves you for all that you are (all the good and the bad). You will be at the edge of your seat from laughter and googly-ness. Highly recommended!
