This
drama is about the lives of 18-year-old heirs of conglomerates, their
rivalries, friendships, love lives and family lives.
Kim
Tan (Lee Min Ho) is the second son of Jeguk Group out-of-wedlock who
loves to rebel against his father, brother and mother. He is also
banished to California, USA for three years due to his behavior.
Cha
Eun Sang (Park Shin Hye) is an 18-year-old high school student who
has multiple jobs to help ends meet.
Choi
Young Do (Kim Woo Bin) is a directionless heir of Zeus Hotel, an
ex-best friend of Tan and will also fall in-love with Eun Sang.
Eun
Sang is having hard life in Korea and decided to ran away to Los
Angeles (America) where her sister is but soon finds out that her
sister is in worse state than her. She coincidentally ran into Kim
Tan and he became her savior while in Los Angeles. This is their
meet-cute and the beginning of their love story.
REVIEW
The
Heirs is definitely one of the best Korean dramas that I've seen.
It's a combination of Boys Before Flowers (terms of high school
drama, the bullying, the glamor and wealth) and Bokura Ga Ita (manga)
in terms of Kim Tan and Young Do's friendship and their rivalry. It's
a perfect combination and you can't get enough once you star watching
so clear your calendar. The actors are perfectly cast. The storyline
is smooth and not overly done. No slow parts, every part is gripping
and you won't want to bat an eyelash to miss one scene. 10 out of 10
stars!!!
